EXPERIENCE IN ACTION

Building what
comes next.

From enterprise engineering to product leadership and AI, my work has always started with a practical question: what needs to change for people to do their best work?

These selected examples reflect Dominique’s experience in prior roles and as a founder, described by industry and organization type. They are not GigaHer client engagements or endorsements.

ENTERPRISE RETAIL

Building systems for work at scale

Software engineering & technical leadership

The challenge

Large retail operations needed connected inventory, ordering, and scheduling tools rather than fragmented manual workflows.

What I did

  • Architected and built across database, services, APIs, web, and mobile experiences for inventory and ordering.
  • Led cross-platform modernization and helped teams make architecture and implementation decisions.
  • Guided an intern engineering team through discovery, development, testing, and rollout of a store scheduling application.

The effect

Connected day-to-day operations across channels while developing the next generation of technical talent.

FINANCIAL SERVICES · CONSULTING

Taking an internal platform from discovery to launch

Project leadership & enterprise transformation

The challenge

A home-lending organization needed a new internal experience and a workable path to migrate content and ways of working.

What I did

  • Led stakeholder discovery, requirements, information architecture, and workflow design.
  • Directed platform and migration decisions alongside implementation and delivery planning.
  • Supported rollout, training, adoption, and change management through launch.

The effect

Brought a greenfield internal platform into use with stakeholder approval and a clearer operating experience.

AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY

Making complex field data usable

Product, engineering & delivery leadership

The challenge

Agricultural products had to serve real field workflows across markets, crop decisions, and geospatial data.

What I did

  • Helped launch a seed-recommendation beta with product, technical, and field requirements aligned.
  • Helped extend a field-management platform to additional European markets, accounting for localization and different workflows.
  • Built geospatial import capabilities to simplify the use of field data on maps.

The effect

Made specialized field information more practical for the people using it, while supporting expansion into new markets.

ENTERPRISE AGRISCIENCE

Creating foundations for faster product delivery

Engineering management & product strategy

The challenge

Product teams needed shared technical foundations and clearer priorities amid changing organizational needs.

What I did

  • Unified design-system and developer-platform work and led shared front-end modernization.
  • Shaped developer tooling and reusable application foundations so teams could spend less time rebuilding basics.
  • Re-sequenced a product portfolio around independently valuable work and coached another product leader on the approach.
  • Built repeatable practices for onboarding, prioritization, support, and delivery.

The effect

Helped teams focus more of their capacity on customer value and made delivery practices reusable beyond one portfolio.

ENTERPRISE COMMERCIAL AI

Designing AI around decisions, not just data

Staff product leadership & AI strategy

The challenge

Commercial teams needed useful answers and recommendations inside their workflows, not simply access to more raw data.

What I did

  • Set product direction for AI-assisted seller workflows with product, engineering, UX, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Developed a layered approach that translated source data into relevant insights and sales-ready information.
  • Led discovery, prototyping, and launch planning for an automated field recommendation workflow.

The effect

Connected AI and automation decisions to the questions commercial users actually needed to answer.

NONPROFIT · AI EDUCATION

Making technical learning accessible

Mentorship, instruction & program leadership

The challenge

Young people needed practical entry points into AI, supported by instructors and a sustainable mentor community.

What I did

  • Taught AI and chatbot concepts through hands-on learning and responsible-AI discussions.
  • Led local program delivery and coordinated employee mentors across multiple organizations.
  • Contributed an educator’s and program leader’s perspective to an advisory board.

The effect

Helped students and volunteer mentors participate in accessible, hands-on AI education.

FOUNDER · DEAR MOMMA

Building maternal wellness technology

Founder, product & technology

The challenge

New mothers were navigating postpartum wellness with little technology designed around their real needs.

What I did

  • Founded Dear Momma, a maternal wellness technology company, and shaped the vision from lived experience.
  • Led the product end to end: strategy, design, and the build and launch of the technology itself.
  • Applied the same enterprise discipline to a startup: prioritization, delivery, and shipping a real product.

The effect

Brings firsthand founder experience building and launching a technology product, not only advising those who do.

THE THROUGH-LINE

Strategy is only as strong as the system behind it.

My early work in customer-facing business roles shaped how I listen. Engineering taught me how to build. Consulting, product leadership, and AI work taught me how to connect technology, teams, and commercial decisions so ideas can actually move forward.
